Middlemarch Revisited was started in the studio just before Christmas 2018. Six plywood panels each measuring 800 x 900 mm all covered in the same pale ochre linoleum with it's gently repeating patterns in red and burnt orange creates the gentle rhythm and harmony of the work . The underlying ground colour is descriptive of Central Otago tussock and the panoramic work with the 50 birds is a paradise and a garden.
